Thunders Love socks are designed in a small village in the North west of Spain, at the bottom of a beautiful estuary, at the mouth of Lerez river, near Portugal border, there they are produced in small family workshops by hosiers with three generations of experience and expertise. Their designs make use of the traditional ways of knitting in which these hosiers are experts, this combined to the highest cotton quality give their socks a unique  presence.

Thunders Love utilise the sock design and the colours along with its structure, the yarn mixtures and the deep knowledge of the different ways of knitting allows them to innovate while staying true to the origins and traditions.
The use of traditional machines gives them the possibility to play with sock architecture, working with the “link” and several techniques in yarn mixing to realise chromatic shades particular to that style.
In a world where industry goes at great speed, they stand by, respecting the production period of small quantities per day and adapting designs to the present time.

Using only high quality materials, like Egyptian cotton, unique due to its finest quality and famous by its long fibre and thin yarn. The long fibre increases the quality of the yarn, and the thin yarn provides greater density to the fabric. Another agent that contributes to the high quality of the cotton is its manual harvest, it reduces the pressure on the fibre and protects it better. Recycled cotton is a material adapted to their philosophy of respect for the environment. They work with cotton recycled in Spain, with offcuts coming from the textile industry. In order to make this type of cotton, chemical products like chlorine and other aggressive agents for the environment are not needed since the colours are created selecting them without any process of dyeing. During harvesting and processing a lot of water is used, by using recycled cotton this waste is removed from the whole process.
